KIDS: Lawrence

| Bio: Lawrence has a million dollar smile. He said that people tell him he has a beautiful smile all the time. He added that he shows off his pearly whites quite a lot, "because people make me laugh. And when they look at me, they just want to make me laugh." Tickled by his own statement, Lawrence’s giggle filled the room. Lawrence likes to ride his bike and head out of the house for day trip adventures. He also enjoys swimming. When beating the Arizona heat in the local pool, Lawrence finds plenty of fun things to do. His favorite, by far, is doing the underwater summersault. "I do front flips inside of the water," he explained, lifting his arms over his head in a diving motion. Someone in the room commented that they get water up their nose when they do front flips in the pool. Lawrence eyes lit up, "Me too! All the time!" Lawrence likes school and is especially fond of his math class. He said that he loves counting and working hard to answer mathematical problems. In addition to this class, Lawrence looks forward to two other times during the school day: "recess and lunch." He and his friends usually play basketball during recess. Lawrence hopes to become an NBA player when he grows up. He would especially love to play for the Phoenix Suns! “Lawrence was a pleasure to work with. Lawrence is such a happy child and full of life! He was so easy to photograph and he was very open to share his life with me. It was so refreshing to see and capture his innocence, hard to find on a child his age.
