James is a very enthusiastic, inquisitive boy who is always eager to learn and share his own knowledge.  He enjoys putting together puzzles, reading, drawing, playing with cars, building forts and collecting items such as rocks, and national geographic magazines. James states that his favorite thing at school is to hang out with his friends and play. James has excelled in school and likes to be challenged, as he gets bored easily. His favorite subjects are science and history.

James is a bright, imaginative boy who needs a family willing to commit to his needs, as he has experienced a great deal of loss in his life.  An ideal home would be a two-parent or single mother home with no children or older children.  The ideal family would provide a calm, stable environment and consistency in his life.  The family must be firm as well as praise good behavior and be prepared to provide constant supervision.

Age 11 

Outside is where James is most at home. His eyes lit up and he was ready to go as soon as he found out we were doing the photo shoot in the yard. He climbed every tree and hung upside down while telling all he knew about dolphins, bugs and dinosaurs. He even told his best joke: “What do you get when you cross a jalapeño, a shovel and a Chihuahua? – A hot diggity dog!”  — Karen Wright , Photographer
