Eli loves to be the center of attention! Tall for his age, Eli loves watching television and movies; he mostly enjoys watching anything on the Disney channel. He is very active and loves the outdoors. His foster parents say he can spend hours outside riding his scooter, his bike or running around playing in the park. Eli has said two of his favorite activities are playing with his toy cars (he really likes hot rods!) and spending time with his foster family, with whom he is sweet, loving and eager to please.

A family that appreciates the importance of structure and routine will be key to helping Eli grow and mature.  His current foster parents frequently “coach” him as a way to help him practice good habits such as dressing himself and making his bed.  Eli responds well to this type of interaction.  He loves spending time with his foster family and is very eager to please his foster parents.  It shows, too, in the sweet and loving way he acts towards them.

Eli has expressed his desire to be a part of an adoptive family.  With his ongoing need for consistency and his need to maintain numerous appointments it would probably be best for him to be in a two-parent household where he is one of the younger children in the home.  He receives supports through the Department’s Division of Developmental Disabilities.

Age 12
