MEET DARRYL

Darryl is very curious about his surroundings and loves to be outside. His favorite things include going on long walks and car rides. Darryl is known to be a great helper at home and school, always eager to have a role in daily routines. He is very in tune with his senses, always wanting to smell and touch everything. He loves anything chocolate, especially ice cream and milk! He enjoys cars and can't wait to take car trips.

Darryl needs individualized attention. Darryl would do best in a two parent household prepared for special needs and one which could provide structure for him, but at the same time be flexible to adapt to his needs. He would enjoy having a strong and active father figure. Overall, Darryl needs a committed family who would be patient with him and provide him with lots of love.

Age 7

"Darryl loves to play and be outside, so we decided to have the photo session at a park. He was a little quiet when he first arrived, but once he saw the swings, he lit up. Although he doesn't verbalize very much, he definitely made his wishes known. When asked if he wanted to swing more, he signed 'more' with a big smile."-- Karen Wright, Photographer
