The goal is simple

Take professional, heart-reaching portraits of our state's most vulnerable children in foster care and promote finding forever homes for them. Arizona Heart Gallery is an all-volunteer organization dedicated to the children of Arizona who are awaiting adoption. We work in collaboration with the Arizona Department of Economic Security, Division of Children, Youth and Families.

There are over 10,000 children in Arizona’s foster care system. At least 1,000 of these children cannot ever be returned home and need a safe, nurturing, forever home. Their current foster families or extended families will adopt many of them. But hundreds are still waiting and hoping someone will notice them. Might that someone be YOU?

Meet Gabrielle!

Gabrielle is affectionate, caring and compassionate. These qualities will be necessary to help her succeed in her future profession as she has big plans for the future. “I would like to become an animal cop when I grow up.” She goes on to explain, “An animal cop goes around the city and helps abused and neglected animals. I have wanted to be an animal cop since I was only five years old.” [Read more]

Important Information / Upcoming Events

On Friday, October 28, 2011 at 7:00 pm, Desert Springs Community Church will host a free concert supporting adoption and foster care. The children's photos from Arizona Heart Gallery will be highlighted. Call 623.435.2105 to reserve your free tickets.

There will be a national Heart Gallery exhibit on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C. on November 1, 2011 in honor of the ten year anniversary of Heart Gallery® and to celebrate National Adoption month. Arizona will be represented in this exhibit. Go to http://www.nationalheartgalleryexhibit.org/ for more information.
Some of the children's photos from Arizona Heart Gallery will be shown during the Arizona Summit on Volunteerism and Service-Learning on November 4-5, 2011 in Coolidge.
February 11, 2011 Arizona Heart Gallery will be participating in a faith-based Wait No More event at Scottsdale Bible Church in Scottsdale, AZ.
